Dr. Maria Roa is a native from Bogotá, Colombia and moved to Florida in 2002. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the Florida State University in 2018 and her Doctorate of Audiology degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2022, Summa Cum Laude. Throughout her clinical training, Dr. Roa learned Best Practices of audiological care for hearing aid programming, using Real Ear Verification to provide exceptional hearing care to all her patients. Dr. Roa went on to complete her 4th year externship at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, where she trained with UNC faculty and implemented the latest evidence-based protocols recommended by the American Academy of Audiology for the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss and related auditory disorders.
Dr. Roa prides herself in providing compassionate and comprehensive care to all patients, maintaining the same philosophy she learned during her graduate studies. She is committed to providing the highest quality of care to meet her patients’ communication needs and improve their quality of life.
