Provider Biography
Mark Agrama, MD, a top ENT doctor in West Palm Beach, is Board Certified in Otolaryngology and Board Certified in Sleep Medicine. He provides a comprehensive treatment of ear, nose, and throat problems for adults. His special interest is the care of the sinuses, nose, and sleep apnea using minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Agrama received training in Balloon Sinuplasty techniques at the first available instructional seminar with Acclarent in 2006. He incorporated the minimally invasive technique rapidly into his extensive sinus surgery practice. Since then, he has used balloon dilation for hundreds of surgical patients with great success.
Dr. Agrama is now proud to offer Balloon Sinuplasty in West Palm Beach as an awake in-office procedure for select patients. In addition to the Balloon Sinuplasty technique, Dr. Agrama uses the true high definition video endoscopy from Storz during his procedures for maximum visualization. During more complex cases in the operating room such as surgery for nasal polyps and revision sinus surgery, he employs the use of 3 dimensional CT scan navigation (essentially GPS for the patient’s sinuses and head) with the Medtronic Fusion stereotactic system. Specially trained in the diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea and other sleep disorders, Dr. Agrama currently serves as the Medical Director of the Sleep Disorders Center at Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach. He has successfully used nasal and throat reconstructive surgery to improve and optimize hundreds of sleep apnea patients’ breathing.
