Provider Biography
Dr. Bahbak Shariat-Madar is an otolaryngologist interested in all aspects of ear, nose, and throat problems. Originally from Ann Arbor, MI, Dr. Shariat-Madar attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate studies where he graduated with high distinction. He then went to the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI for medical school, where he obtained his medical degree and developed his passion for otolaryngology. While at the Medical College of Wisconsin he obtained the Sheldon and Marianne Lubar Endowed Scholarship, was awarded T35 NHLBI training grant funding related to his research, and was ultimately inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society.
He went on to complete his internship and residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. During residency, he trained with sub-specialists representing all areas of otolaryngology. He worked in a diverse training environment caring for underserved communities in North Philadelphia at Temple University Hospital and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children and training in head and neck cancer at Fox Chase Cancer Center. He continued to conduct research and present at international conferences during his residency training.
Dr. Shariat-Madar provides medical and surgical treatment for ear, nose, and throat problems for both adults and children, including sleep apnea, hearing loss, dizziness, sinus problems, allergies, hoarseness, thyroid disease, and neck masses.
